The Mine Supply team has decades of experience in the Mining and Industrial Sector across Canada. We pride ourselves on our premier brand lines, and the long-term relationships we’ve built with both our clients and vendors in over five decades of operations.

Mine Supply Company strives to source products that provide effective solutions for clients working in a wide variety of conditions across the continent, including hard rock mines, soft rock mines, underground, at surface, and in extreme heat and extreme cold. The Mine Supply team works to stay ahead of the curve, continually modifying our product line to ensure we’re able to provide existing and custom fabrication and design solutions that save our clients time and money. We are life cycle thinkers, and consider ourselves client partners when it comes to achieving production goals.

Marc Collette

Marc has more than three decades of experience in the mining sector, gained through operational and supporting roles at hard and soft rock mining operations across Saskatchewan. His varied experience in operations, sales, material management, and procurement contributes to his unique ability to see the big picture with life cycle approaches (incl. Cost-Analysis Auditing) and targeted supply strategies that respond to each client’s unique operating challenges and production goals. While he continues to enjoy going underground to test and troubleshoot, recent years have shifted Marc’s focus to the board room, where he advocates for procurement practices that prioritize operations-based knowledge and needs, support the region’s supply chain, and increase Indigenous participation in the sector. He has been a member of the SIMSA (Saskatchewan Industrial Mine Supply Association) Board of Directors since 2022.

Paul Cranford

With more than 30 years of experience in mining, including 20 years in management, Paul has contributed to the successful execution of projects at mine sites across Canada. From overseeing underground maintenance and material management to shaft extension and rehabilitation projects, Paul has seen and done it all, including while in the role of Mine General Manager. In addition to Paul’s technical expertise as a Certified Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, he has a demonstrated skill and passion for managing teams to achieve unified goals. His extensive experience includes operational and management roles in continuous improvement, safety, logistics, and maintenance, and overseeing sizeable operating budgets and capital expenditures.

Shelley Young, BComm, CPA, CGA

Shelley joined the Mine Supply team in 2023. In addition to expertise in finance and accounting, Shelley brings many other strengths in strategy, communications, project management, stakeholder engagement, risk management and control, human resources and support, and more. Before this role, she was CFO for Saskatoon Tribal Council, overseeing accounting and reporting for four STC nonprofits and Cress Housing Corporation, regularly reporting to the Chiefs’ table. Before STC, Shelley was based in La Ronge for 19 years. She served as Vice President of Finance & Operations of Northlands College, overseeing a substantial budget and operations in facilities, human resources, information technology, accounting, and procurement. Shelley is committed to accountability, transparent communications, and aligning strategic objectives to reach business goals and mitigate risk effectively.

Kevin Carriere

Born and raised in a small mining community in Northern Manitoba, Kevin holds a NAIT diploma in Air Conditioning Engineering. He has worked underground as an operator on production and construction crews, providing lube truck services, and operating equipment, and also worked for ABC Ventilation, one of Mine Supply’s core vendors. In addition to his expertise in ventilation, Kevin has extensive knowledge of conveyor systems, mobile equipment, and all other supply categories. He is always happy to join clients on-site to work out specific solutions in response to operating challenges.

Barry Page

Barry grew up on a family farm in Saskatchewan. His work ethic reflects that background: respect and pride in a good day’s work. He is proud to serve the buyers who make it all happen for their mining crews as they tackle unique projects and ever-changing needs. As Barry says, “Harvest was a highly anticipated time of year for me growing up. Our miners “harvest” every single day!”. He looks forward to working at “harvest” daily with his teammates at Mine Supply Company.

Terry Zerbin joined Mine Supply Company in 2023, bringing knowledge gained through more than two decades of experience in heavy equipment mechanics, operations, and safety-related positions at hard and soft rock mining sites across Saskatchewan. A Medical First Responder and Safety Trainer, Terry has participated and led teams at multiple provincial and western national mine rescue competitions over the years. Past roles include Mine Foreman and Health & Safety Manager, among a range of others supporting mining operations. Terry has significant knowledge of regulations that impact the mining sector gained through his experience and as an active member of the Saskatchewan Mining Association.

Wes Champ

Wes has been managing materiel for Mine Supply Company for more than three decades. He sorts, packs, ships and has even driven to client sites himself on numerous occasions to ensure our clients got what they needed, when they needed it. Our resident jack-of-all-trades, Wes knows how to get the job done!
